We offer free shipping for orders over £89 within mainland UK

Currently we deliver to England, Scotland and Wales (with exclusions as below).

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to Ireland, Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and other remote islands

We don't deliver to the following postcodes as DPD only offer 2 day service or longer

We ship Monday to Friday and you can choose your own delivery date at checkout up to 2 weeks in advance. We will then ship the day before and send tracking details.

We give our customers the ability to choose their delivery date at checkout, in the majority of instances, DPD will deliver on this date, but please be aware, there can sometimes be problems in their network, accidents, weather issues etc which can delivery your delivery by another day. 

DPD collect from our premises daily so that we can guarantee once your order has left our production facility it will be delivered to your door the following day. All our meat is packed on ice and lab tested to withhold up to 72 hours in transit. 

On the morning on the day of your delivery you will receive a notification via e-mail/text from either DPD providing you with an hour window for when your parcel will be delivered. This is a guide time.

Our box liners are filled with 100% biodegradable sheep’s wool, a natural insulator that is far more effective at keeping produce at the correct temperature. The insulation in our liners and pouches is 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable. These liners are inserted into our range of cardboard.

We will ship your order within 1 working days for next day delivery. All meat is prepared fresh on the morning of dispatch. Weekend orders are shipped on a Monday

If no one was home at the time of delivery, the carrier will leave the package in a safe location.

Be sure to check around your home and with neighbors/building management who may have collected the package for you.

Also, please double-check the shipping address of your order (in the order confirmation email) to ensure it’s headed to the right location.

On some occasions, packages may be marked as delivered but take additional time to arrive.

You can track your parcel using the DPD app/ website and we will send you tracking details once they have received it from us.  

When you have completed your order online you will receive an e-mail confirming that we have received your order. Once we have completed your order and it is with DPD, you will receive a notification from DPD with your tracking number. 

We would encourage all customers to download the DPD App to have up to date notifications on the delivery of their parcel. The customer gets a notification it is out for delivery, a 1 hour time slot, a 30 minute notification and a ‘Your Next’ notification. The customer should therefore be able to practically track the drivers every steps

All deliveries are preferred to be contactless. If you are not available at the time of delivery the driver will attempt to leave your parcel in a safe place.

Please note, all couriers operate a leave safe on fresh product meaning they don't need to knock your door and the driver must leave the parcel on the doorstep or required safe place given by the customer, the driver is not allowed to return to the depot with the perishable food.

We use an Ice Cube System used with Gel ice mats which have been designed & validated to keep your perishable products chilled below +5°C for 72 hours in the winter & 48 hours in the summer. For more info, visit https://www.thefatbutcher.co.uk/pages/packaging 

We will send you an email when your order has been collected by DPD stating your tracking number On the morning of your delivery, DPD will either text or email with a 2 hour window

We restrict offers due to us having a limited number of the product and ensuring as many customers as possible get the opportunity to buy. The restriction is on all half price or more offers

Our Meat

No, unfortunately they aren't

No, unfortunately not, we source our meat from all around the EU. This can vary per supplier as we source our meat by quality, we search for the best products that we can supply our customers and sometimes that means sourcing outside of the UK.

The majority of our meat is fresh, meaning you are able to freeze when you receive. If its not freeze, it will state it is frozen

It states on the listing, the bone, but its small ground bone

This is natural and due to the fact we vacuum pack the meat prior to shipping.

All our meat is weighed and will be a minimum weight as shown on the website, images and videos We vacuum pack the meat which makes it look smaller But rest assured, the meat weight is the same

We source our meat globally. This can vary per supplier as we source our meat by quality, we search for the best products that we can supply our customers and sometimes that means sourcing outside of the UK.

All our meat is weighed and will be a minimum weight as shown on the website, images and videos We vacuum pack the meat which makes it look smaller But rest assured, the meat weight is the same

Orders should be able to be cancelled up to 48 hours before delivery.

Please email our team [email protected] with your cancellation request as soon as possible.

You will receive confirmation of your cancellation if we’re able to make it happen.

After this period, we may not be able to cancel your order as it might already be in processing or shipment.

If you have already received an order confirmation email, it may be impossible to cancel your order. However, you can always request a return or exchange once your order arrives.

We can sometimes change/update an order as long as it is at least 48 hours before delivery. Be sure to tell us what you want to replace or add. Note we can't change any items in our hampers. However, if you need to update your shipping address or contact information, please contact our customer service team on [email protected] immediately after placing your order.

Unfortunately, we can not substitute any products. We carefully select our deals to ensure the best possible offers!
